Categories of Changes to Freight Version 4.07
Architectural and technical changes
•Move from OpenSSL 1.x → OpenSSL 3. which is more modular, secure, and standards compliant.
• Move from 32-bit to 64-bit (Com Server) that is faster and supports more memory. 64-bit is strongly recommended for security + performance + compatibility with modern OpenSSL 3.
Environment changes
•Hosting new RAS (Remote Access Service) offers stronger encryption & compliance, higher performance, better reliability & scalability for larger user bases and integration with modern identity providers.
UI Changes and bug fixes
•New look and feel to the application for the users
•Up-dates (bug fixes) to some of the existing functionalities
New functionalities
•Task visibility and monitoring feature
•Quick access to browsing for Freight, Customs, and Accounts modules.
