How to identify other issues with TW Freight instability

Known Issues to Be Aware Of

While Parallels is the primary source of instability (as per below),

 some issues may also stem from client-side factors:

  • Network and Local Machine Limitations: Problems may arise from VPNs, ISP DNS, firewall restrictions, group policy settings, or antivirus interference. Firewalls must allow access to TradeWindow Software.
  • Email Restrictions: Login requires a valid TW-provided email. Non-TW emails can result in authentication failures.
  • Session Handling: Inactive sessions will automatically log users out after 20 minutes.  This is a security feature.
  • Ending session: Log out of both Freight and Parallels. If a user logs out of Parallels but not the Freight Platform, they may remain “stuck” as logged in, preventing re-entry until the session clears.
